A great introduction to ski racing. Experienced coaches lead small-group sessions focused on fun, skill development, speed, and skiing safe and smart, all while building a love for the sport. Two-time Olympian Kaylin Richardson started right here.
- Red Team: Monday and Wednesday, 6:00 to 8:00 PM
- Blue Team: Tuesday and Friday, 6:00 to 8:00 PM
- Orange Team: Thursday 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM to noon

Ages 6 to 13. U8 born 2019 and 2020 · U10 born 2017 and 2018 · U12 born 2015 and 2016 · U14 born 2013 and 2014.

Born 2012 or earlier? Look at High School Development or our USSS programs. Born 2021 or later? We look forward to welcoming your racer when they reach Jr. Race age.
Transition add-on
$350 per season.
- For U10 and U12 Jr. Race athletes (born 2015 to 2018) getting ready for USSS teams
- Weekend practices, planned for non-race Sundays
- In-season camp opportunities with the U10 and U12 USSS teams
- Coaching at a spring CR1 race with a short-term USSS membership
How Transition registration works
Register for your preferred Red, Blue or Orange team and answer yes to the Transition question. The separate Transition registration and its full schedule are sent later in the fall. Racing in any USSS race requires a short-term or U12-and-younger competition license.
